U.S. Footwear Industry Urges USG End Japanese Footwear TRQs

U.S. footwear industry urges the U.S. government to make elimination of the Japan leather footwear TRQ, which essentially closes the Japanese market to exports of U.S.-made and U.S.-branded leather footwear, a priority in discussions towards finalizing the U.S.-Japan Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART).
