AAFA Comments on Canada C-35 Forced Labor Bill

AAFA provided detailed comments to the Canada government in response to its Public Consultation on its proposed expansion of the Canada Forced Labor Statute under Bill C-35. The comments utilize the U.S. apparel and footwear industry’s experience with enforcement of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and the U.S. Forced Labor Statute to raise concerns and make suggestions on Bill C-35, including the proposed forced labor list.
