Description:
Thanks to new funding, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has dramatically ramped up import surveillance at the ports. Regrettably, while CPSC still clears most shipments, the time it takes CPSC to clear the shipments has caused many members delays in getting their shipments released. With the significant delays companies are already experiencing due to the shipping crisis, the CPSC-generated delays are adding insult to injury.
The member-only roundtable will bring together members to share their experiences with AAFA, discuss best practices to mitigate these delays, and develop advocacy to eliminate these delays going forward.
