Description:
The AAFA Trade and Customs Committee meeting will meet on
May 5, 2026 at the offices of Akin in Washington, DC. We will be in the
Strauss conference room (sections C & D) on 12th Floor.

May 6, 2026, AAFA will hold a lobby day for trade and customs committee members to advocate on industry issues regarding trade and customs policy. Please register

Open only to AAFA Trade and Customs Committee members and invited guests, the AAFA Trade and Customs Committee meeting is a "must-attend" event for anybody who wants to learn about and affect key trade, customs, regulatory, and legislative issues impacting the industry in 2026. Meetings typically feature discussions with officials from Congress and several Executive Branch agencies, including the office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
