Join AAFA as New Balance Athletics, Inc. hosts the Traceability & Sustainability Conference in Boston on July 26! The conference is being held in conjunction with AAFA’s Social Responsibility Committee and Environmental Committee Meetings and will be followed by a welcome reception on Tuesday, July 25, in Boston's Seaport District, with the full-day conference on Wednesday, July 26. The committee meetings are open to AAFA members only and separate registration is required.


All apparel, footwear, and fashion retail industry professionals are encouraged and welcome to participate including compliance, supply chain, corporate social responsibility, environmental, and sustainability professionals are invited to register. This program is closed to press attendance and coverage.


This program addresses the industry’s movement around supply chain mapping, and ESG goals. Achieving transparency and sustainability throughout the supply chain is essential to foster responsible policies and practices. With brand reputation, environmental repercussions, labor discord, and more at stake – mapping and prioritizing the supply chain is essential to prove commitments to the consumer and prevail in meeting internal values and targets.

Transportation Information

AAFA will provide transportation to/from the TRACK at new balance on July 26 from the Hyatt Place Boston / Seaport District located at 295 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA 02210. If using a rideshare service (Uber/Lyft), please use the address of 71 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135. Once dropped off, please proceed into the TRACK at new balance using the doors labeled 71 Guest Street.

*To receive the 2nd person discount, there must first be a paid registration at the member rate. If registering multiple people, complete one registration first and check out to complete the registration process. Once the first person is completely registered, then it will apply the discounted rate for any additional registrations from the same company. Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued after July 11, 2023. Substitutions are always permitted. 

Environmental & Social Responsibility Committee Meetings 

The Social Responsibility Committee will meet on the morning of Tuesday, July 25, followed by a joint lunch with the Environmental Committee at 12:30 PM ET. The Environmental Committee Meeting will conclude at 5:30 PM ET. Separate registration is required for each meeting.
