Description:
As China eases some of its quarantine and other restrictions on business and social activity, this webinar looks at Chinese consumption data for both in store and online across retail. Learn which brands are selling well in China and why that may be the case. We’ll explore learnings and see how they may be applied to Europe and North American markets.

Elizabeth Haenle is Co-founder and President of SAGE Worldwide, a speakers bureau and event consulting company based in Washington, DC, and Beijing, China. She serves as the Vice Chairman of the board for the US-China Strong Foundation, an initiative started by Presidents Barack Obama and Hu Jintao that focuses on providing opportunities for U.S. students to study Chinese. Haenle is also a director for Americans Promoting Study Abroad (APSA), a non-profit organization aimed at providing underprivileged American high school students with opportunities to study abroad in China. Prior to starting two companies, Haenle worked at the White House as the Social Secretary and Residence Manager to the Vice President of the United States.

Agnes Xu is the co-founder and Managing Director of Sandalwood Advisors, one of the largest alternative data platforms in Asia. Agnes leads the research team at Sandalwood which has helped hundreds of large financial institutions track consumer trends in Asia. Before devoting her full time to Sandalwood, she was research director in GfK Boutique Research whose clients consisted of top semiconductor manufacturers. Agnes grew up in Shanghai and Hong Kong and now lives in Los Angeles.
