Global Supply Chains and the COVID-19 Crises

Join us as we bring together a panel of trade association leaders from the United States and Europe to share their perspectives on the current crises.
Audience: Open industry. All apparel and footwear industry professionals, regardless of AAFA membership, are encouraged to participate.

Description:

The COVID-19 pandemic has unleashed twin health and economic crises. Lives have been lost and livelihoods have been destroyed. In a short time, the virus has paralyzed supply chains, triggered unprecedented store closures and job losses, and set off bankruptcies by both retailers and factories.

What lasting impact will the COVID-19 pandemic have on our industry? How will the economic crisis affect trade policies? What has been the impact on industry sustainability efforts?

Join us as we bring together a panel of trade association leaders from the United States and Europe to share their perspectives on the current crises, to discuss what’s being done by their members and organizations, and to preview challenges and opportunities in the coming months.

Attendees will gain insights into these topics:
  • Lessons we learned from the crises.
  • Steps to take individually and together as we recover and emerge from these crises.
  • New supply chain policies we can expect.
