Sourcing in New Countries

As companies look to diversify their sourcing platform, AAFA’s member-only Sourcing Profiles equip members with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions when considering new regions and new countries.

Each AAFA Sourcing Profile contains the following:

  • A profile of the country;
  • A profile of the industry;
  • A profile of the infrastructure in the country;
  • A profile of the country’s current trade relationship with the U.S. and the world, including statistics on actual exports;
  • A profile of the country’s intellectual property rights (IPR) protections;
  • A profile of the labor and human rights situation in the country; and
  • A profile of key U.S. government contacts in the country.

AAFA has released more than 20 Sourcing Profiles to date. The list of countries available for download will appear once you have logged in as an AAFA member.
