The Rise of Third Country Manufacturing
The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) Statistics dashboard unveiled by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in mid-March makes it clear that companies need to look beyond China when mapping their supply chains. The dashboard reveals a startlingly high number of stopped shipments that originated in Vietnam and Malaysia. This webinar highlighted what can we surmise from this newly available data on shipments detained and released from countries outside of China. We also touched on how should companies respond to the rise of third-country manufacturers.
