Before World IP Day Industry Groups Send IP Support Letter

In recognition of World Intellectual Property Day, AAFA led nearly two dozen consumer, retail, and manufacturing groups in a letter to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO John A. Squires. The letter highlights the economic importance of IP protection, calls for continued U.S. leadership in multilateral discussions, and urges expanded capacity-building for stakeholders.
