The Government Contractors Conference will meet just outside of Philadelphia at the Sheraton Valley Forge in King of Prussia, PA, May 6 - 7, 2024. The program will kick off with a welcome reception on Monday evening, followed by a full-day conference on Tuesday, May 7. Registration rates are listed below.
Description
The Government Contractors Conference convenes the Government Contracts Committee (GCC) to keep members apprised of developments that bear on the needs and requirements of the U.S. military and other parts of the U.S. government with respect to the procurement of clothing and shoes. Speakers will include representatives from the United States
Air Force,
Army,
Coast Guard,
Marine Corps,
Navy, and
Space Force, along with the
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, as they provide updates on purchasing forecasts to better enable clothing and individual equipment suppliers to tailor and plan for production. This year’s conference will also feature a Foreign Policy Security Brief from
Emily Harding, Director of the Intelligence, National Security, and Technology (INT) Program at the Center for Strategic & International Studies.
Audience
Participation at this meeting is typically limited to AAFA members; however, non-member companies are permitted to register and attend.
