AAFA is bringing the Product Safety & Compliance Conference back to Long Beach, CA, continuing last year’s successful expansion from a one-day program to a day-and-a-half format filled with valuable content and enhanced networking opportunities!
Audience
All apparel and footwear industry professionals, regardless of AAFA membership, are encouraged to participate. Product safety, compliance, regulatory, quality assurance, and chemical management professionals from entry level to executive level are invited to join us. This program is closed to press attendance and coverage.
Description
Product safety, quality, and compliance have grown more complex across the supply chain as new materials and innovation are incorporated into production. Addressing regulations from the federal level down to the state and county level, this program supports the development of a comprehensive risk-based approach to unify global operations with legislative standards across compliance systems and protocols. Co-located with this conference, AAFA’s Environmental Committee meeting provide attending members with expanded resources and alignment.
This event is a crucial part of AAFA’s focus on galvanizing the industry to build upon strong supply chain and sourcing commitments to result in safe products so that members, consumers, workers, and the environment will thrive.

The Environmental Committee Meeting will start on the morning of Tuesday, February 2. The session will conclude early afternoon and will be followed by the Product Safety & Compliance Conference. More information to come.
