2019 Keynote: Willie Tan

Mr. Willie Tan has over 30 years of business management experience in various disciplines including apparel manufacturing, fishing, logistics including cargo airline and shipping, wholesale and retail operations, travel & tourism, insurance, and financial and health care services. The son of Dr. Tan Siu Lin, he joined the apparel division in 1985 and has held the positions of Executive Vice President and later Chief Operating Officer prior to his appointment to lead the privately held businesses. Willie has successfully built the retail business of the Tan Family.
Willie is currently the External Vice President of the Philippine-China Business Council, Chairman of the Confederation of Garment Exporters of the Philippines, and was appointed Honorary Ambassador-at-Large for Guam, USA in 2007. In 2016, Willie was conferred the Order of Lakandula, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Philippine Government on individuals contributing to the country's growth.
