Akino started her career in public relations and marketing in London and has worked in Europe, Asia and the United States. She has led and served roles in global marketing strategies, product marketing, events management, public relations, corporate communications and regional marketing. Akino holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University College of London, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and has trilingual fluency in English, Italian and Japanese.

Troy loves catching bad guys! Troy is Director for Markmonitor’s global Brand Protection services team where he manages teams in the US, UK, China and Japan. With over 14 years in the Domain Management, and Brand Protection industry, he has collaborated directly with many Fortune 500 companies in defining and executing digital asset strategies. Troy holds a bachelors in Operations Management, and in Spanish from Boise State University, and an MBA from Northwest Nazarene.

As a Government Relations Representative, Christina serves as the AAFA liaison for the Brand Protection Council. She is a former AAFA intern and has focused on Brand Protection issues through her past internships at the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center and the Intellectual Property Department at Louis Vuitton. Christina also supports the Government Contracts Committee. She received her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilization and a minor in Legal Studies from Trinity College.
