Philip Lazo is a retail technology industry veteran, with over 20 years of experience serving apparel and footwear retailers and brands.  Phil’s industry expertise spans RFID, Inventory Management, and Retail Loss Prevention. Currently the Director of RFID Solutions at Checkpoint, Phil leads RFID Business Development and Sales for North America. He leverages a deep knowledge and background in the business/ financial benefits of RFID across the retail and supply chain use 
cases to serve as trusted advisor to global and regional apparel and footwear clients.

Beth Hughes is responsible for supporting the association's efforts on international trade and customs issues. Beth oversees AAFA’s Trade Policy Committee, as well as AAFA’s Customs Group. Before joining AAFA, Beth served for six years as senior director, international affairs at the International Dairy Foods Association. Beth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at George Washington University and received a Master of Arts in international affairs from Florida State University.
