During the past few months, companies have ramped up their ability to produce face masks and coverings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As we get back to work, face masks will be essential to prevent further transmission of the virus. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, cloth face coverings are most likely to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when they are widely used by people in public settings. The CDC notes further that the spread of COVID-19 can be reduced when cloth face coverings are used along with other preventive measures, including social distancing, frequent handwashing, and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.
AAFA has polled its membership to identify companies with the ability to produce face masks, for both small and large orders, both medical and non-medical, to help businesses and communities provide masks to their stakeholders.
