AAFA commented today on the announcement that the Trump administration has agreed to a “Phase One” deal with China that will reduce the tariff rate on many industry products and delay new tariffs scheduled for December 15.

AAFA has sent a letter to President Donald J. Trump emphasizing the need for a "Phase One" deal that both eliminates the tariffs that are currently in place and removes the threat of those scheduled to take effect on December 15.
AAFA urged the President to include elimination of Tranche 3 and Tranche 4 tariffs in any Phase One deal with China.
