AAFA once again included foreign domains owned and operated by Amazon.com, Inc., in the 2019 Special 301 Out-of-Cycle Review of Notorious Markets submission. AAFA also encouraged USTR to expand future reports to include domestic marketplaces.
AAFA submitted comments to USTR highlighting the industry's concerns with foreign online and physical marketplaces that “engage in or facilitate substantial copyright piracy or trademark counterfeiting."
